Phila's Story My interest in coding began when I saw how amazing things could be created on a computer. I was fascinated by the idea that people could make cool apps and solve interesting problems by giving instructions to the computer. It felt like a puzzle, and I wanted to be the one solving it. I realized that technology was always changing and making life better, and I wanted to be a part of that change. Witnessing the power of coding to create solutions and bring ideas to life ignited a spark in me. I was eager to go beyond just being a spectator and become someone who could actively contribute to the digital world. The dynamic nature of the technology industry and the constant opportunities for learning and growth further motivated me to dive into the world of coding. Overall, it was the combination of seeing the creative possibilities and the desire to make a positive impact that initially sparked my interest in learning how to code.

🙋‍♀️ Phila's Motivation

I want to learn to code with SheCodes because it helps girls in Africa who don't have many chances. I saw that there aren't many girl coders, and I want to change that. SheCodes is like a special school that teaches girls how to use computers to make cool things. I think it's important that everyone gets a chance to learn, no matter where they're from. Coding can help girls have better opportunities. I like that SheCodes is like a team that helps each other and makes sure everyone feels included. I want to be part of this team and learn new things that can make a difference. Coding seems like a superpower, and I want to use it to help more girls have a chance to learn and do cool stuff with computers. That's why I'm excited to start this coding journey with SheCodes!

🤹‍♀️ Phila's Hobbies

For fun, I love crafting short stories, weaving imaginary worlds with my words. Crocheting is another passion, creating cozy and colorful pieces. Recently, I've also found joy in coding, unlocking a new realm of creativity and problem-solving. These pursuits blend my love for storytelling, crafting, and technology.
