Razia's Story What interests me about digital skills is their transformative potential, particularly in regions like Afghanistan where access to traditional education may be limited, especially for girls due to current government restrictions. In Afghanistan, where girls are currently prohibited from attending schools or universities, technology serves as a crucial avenue for education and economic empowerment. Digital skills not only provide opportunities for learning and self-improvement but also offer avenues for financial independence through remote work and entrepreneurship. I am deeply motivated by the prospect of leveraging technology to overcome societal challenges and create positive change, particularly in empowering marginalized communities to pursue education and economic opportunities.
My motivation to take part in this training program stems from a deep desire to improve my skills and prospects for a better future. As a forced returnee from Afghanistan with limited opportunities, I recognize the importance of acquiring new skills to overcome challenges and rebuild our lives. This training program offers a valuable opportunity for me to gain expertise in areas such as office and web design, which could significantly enhance my employability and economic stability. Additionally, by participating in this program, I hope to connect with a supportive community and access resources that can empower me to make positive contributions to both my own life and the wider society.
