Refilwe's Story I got into coding in this kind of random way. I was hanging out with a friend who was working on her own little website, and watching her code it from scratch was mind-blowing. It was like, "Wow, you can just make stuff appear on the internet with this?" That mix of creativity and problem-solving hooked me. It showed me that coding wasn't this exclusive club but something anyone could jump into, which totally drew me in.
There's something really special about the community at She Codes. It's so motivating to learn alongside people who get it, to tackle problems together, and to cheer each other on when we hit milestones. Listening to others share how this supportive circle has boosted their confidence and made them feel like they can really do this coding thing is incredibly inspiring.
I love getting lost in a good book, anything from fantasy novels to biographies. I'm also really into hiking; there's something about being out in nature that just recharges me. For fun, I enjoy experimenting with cooking - trying out new recipes or sometimes just winging it to see what turns out. And, when I have some downtime, you'll find me playing board games with friends or diving into a DIY project; there's something satisfying about making or fixing things with my own hands.
