Refilwe's Story I first became interested in coding when I realized how essential technology is for modern businesses. As I work to grow my startup, I’ve seen the potential of digital tools to streamline operations, reach customers, and solve challenges. I started exploring coding out of curiosity and was fascinated by how it empowers people to create innovative solutions from scratch. This sparked my desire to learn coding so I can apply it to my startup business and help other entrepreneurs like me succeed in the digital age.
My motivation for learning how to code with SheCodes stems from my passion for leveraging technology to support entrepreneurs and small businesses, particularly SMMEs. As a self-taught entrepreneur who built a detergent manufacturing business from scratch, I understand the challenges small businesses face. Coding will empower me to develop digital tools and platforms to address these challenges, such as online stores, automated systems, or accessible resources for fellow entrepreneurs. SheCodes offers the perfect opportunity to gain these skills in a supportive and structured environment
I enjoy exploring new ideas and learning about technology and entrepreneurship—it keeps me inspired and motivated. I also love engaging with other entrepreneurs, sharing ideas, and finding ways to support small businesses. For relaxation, I enjoy listening to music, exploring nature, and spending quality time with family and friends.
