Renèe's Story I developed a passion for coding in college while majoring in business intelligence and data analysis. My coding experience not only complemented my course in business intelligence, but it also offered up a world of technological possibilities. It became clear to me that mastering coding was a lifelong path of ongoing study and research.

🙋‍♀️ Renèe's Motivation

I want to improve my coding skills, and gain hands-on experience, and it would also be intriguing to consider networking with business leaders and possibly finding recruitment after this. Furthermore, the structured curriculum of a boot camp creates a clear path for skill improvement, allowing me to focus my efforts and track my progress more effectively. This systematic approach, paired with the program's intensity, can help me speed my learning and achieve my career ambitions in the tech industry.

🤹‍♀️ Renèe's Hobbies

I express my creativity and pick up new skills and problem-solving strategies through do-it-yourself projects. I feel accomplished and at ease when I crochet since my hands are creating lovely and useful things. I have always loved to read since it takes me to new places, teaches me things, and lets me lose myself in interesting stories.

SheCodes Foundation Mission

Women currently hold 25% of coding jobs and earn 30% less money than men. In most developing countries, more than 65% of women don't have bank accounts and cannot afford to invest in their education. Female refugees also don’t have many opportunities to invest in their education and improve their career horizon - they often work in unskilled, undervalued, and low-paid informal sectors.

SheCodes is here to help provide women in developing countries and women who are refugees with the opportunity to learn how to code for free. SheCodes offers a solid introduction to product development, product design and product management.
