Rikisha's Story My interest in coding began when i realized how much technology influences every part of our lives. Growing up , i have always been fascinated by how things work behind the scene- whether it is software, websites, or apps . As i began pursuing my degree in Information technology. I started to see how powerful coding can be in shaping the world around us.
My motivation for learning how to code with SheCodes comes from my desire to empower myself and create a future where I can be more independent and confident in my abilities, as women pursuing a career in a field that s often seen as dominated by men, it can be challenging to break through the barriers and stereotypes , but I am determined to prove that genders should never limit ambition. I want to develop skills that will help me bring my ideas to life. i know that learning to code will open up new opportunities and allow me to stand strong in a field where women are still underrepresented. I'm excited to take this step knowing it will push me to grow.
i enjoy cooking and baking, journaling, exploring technology and experimenting with different tech tools.
