Shiluva's Story My interest in coding began when I was working as an IT intern at Telkom. I was fascinated by how coding could solve complex problems and automate tasks, significantly improving efficiency. This experience sparked my desire to learn more about programming and pursue it as a skill to enhance my career in technology.

I am motivated to learn how to code with SheCodes to gain the technical skills needed to excel in the technology field and bridge the gap between my current role and more advanced IT positions. This program will empower me to contribute more effectively to projects, solve complex problems, and stay competitive in an increasingly digital world. Additionally, I am excited about joining a supportive community of women in tech and contributing to diversity in the industry.

Shiluva's coding training

Shiluva has gained access to SheCodes Plus for at no cost. It’s a 4 month coding training that’ll take her from a beginner to a professional.

She'll learn popular technologies, from HTML, CSS, JavaScript and development tools. She'll also get to build her own online portfolio to showcase to potential employers!

1. Basics Coding Workshop (3 weeks)
2. Basics Add-on (1 week)
3. Plus Coding Workshop (8 weeks)
4. Plus Add-on (2 weeks)
She’ll gain access to each portion after finishing the preceding portion. She’ll build up her coding knowledge gradually along the way. 🙌
