Shriya's Story I first became interested in coding during high school when I took a basic computer science class. At first, I wasn’t sure what to expect, but once I started learning how to build simple websites and solve problems through code, I was fascinated. It was like unlocking a whole new way of thinking,being able to create something from scratch and watching it come to life was super exciting. I also saw a lot of friends and role models online who were coding, and they seemed to have so much control over their projects and careers. The more I learned, the more I realized how important coding is for almost everything—whether it's tech, business, or even art. It felt like a skill I needed to have, so I decided to dive deeper into it in college. I’m especially excited about learning more through SheCodes because of its supportive community, and I can’t wait to see what I can create!
My motivation for learning how to code from SheCodes is basically how I can contribute to the Women community in the field of technology to code more and more as much as possible. As an 18-year-old college student, I’m super motivated to learn coding with SheCodes because I see it as a powerful skill that can open up so many career opportunities. I’ve always been fascinated by technology and how it shapes the world around us, and coding is at the heart of that transformation. I want to be part of that change and have the ability to build websites, apps, and even solve real-world problems with technology. I’m particularly excited about SheCodes because it’s designed with women in mind, creating a supportive and inclusive community. I think it's important to have spaces where you can feel empowered and encouraged to learn without any barriers. Coding is something I know will help me not just in my future career, but also in my personal growth. It’s a challenge I’m ready to take on, and I’m excited to see where this journey with SheCodes will take me.
I like reading motivational books, singing ,drawing, sketching ,I also enjoy listening to music and love capturing the moments via my hierarchal photography skills.
