Silindile's Story I first became interested in coding when I watched a video on YouTube of a guy explaining how you can make apps and games, which piqued my interest as I’ve always wondered how the games I was playing were made. Especially the graphics, I started watching more coding videos and since I couldn’t understand any of it, I tried ChatGPT, it didn’t help that much. I need to first start with the basics and work my way up from there.

🙋‍♀️ Silindile's Motivation

I want to learn coding because I want to teach coding and technical skills to kids in rural areas. I would also love to transition into the IT field. SheCodes offers this and I love that it offers to us ladies. Learning coding is very expensive especially if you don’t have means to pay for it. So getting a scholarship to study for free would be a huge blessing as it will better not just my life and my family’s but it will also better future coders.

🤹‍♀️ Silindile's Hobbies

I love learning new things, spending time with my family and friends, reading, and public speaking
