Soasmi's Story The first line of code I wrote was in class 11, since then there have been quite a few "Hello World"s and I still keep coming back to coding. I may spend hours debugging the java code but the moment when I find that pesky mistake and code finally compiles is exhilarating. Now coding has become a necessary skill and so I get to continue my coding journey (hopefully guided by SheCodes).
I started writing short stories when I was 9; started writing poetry when I was 11. I think it is that passion for creating something new that I started getting pulled towards coding. Coding is a journey that gets frustrating fast due to the innumerable errors and rejections, it is for this reason that i would like teachers and students of SheCodes alike to teach me. I want to learn not just how to code, but how to push through the moments when nothing seems to work.
As I mentioned earlier I love to write poetry and short stories. I also love to read and my favorite genres are Historical Fiction and Mystery. If I had pickup a coding language I play with it would definitely be HTML, CSS and JS; I find it quite fun to make cute little websites for friends or birthday or anniversary cards for family.
