Thandeka's Story I became interested to coding when I was in High school I was exposed to career expos so I had a lot of information on STEM careers and I chose IT because personally it aligns with my career goals . I got motivation from also young ladies in Tech who came to give insight on what it is like in a day of a Software Engineer . So I became more interested in it .
I would like to upskill myself when it comes to coding and be able to do my own projects. It will also help me in the Job market as sometimes it could be a bit difficult for a fresh graduate to land a junior role . And i have learnt that the IT industry dwells too much on skills than qualifications sometimes . So joining Shecodes will help me gain confidence in my competency.
I am a very energetic individual so i like going for hiking with friends. Sometimes I go for choir rehearsal . I am also an aerobics enthusiast .
