Tselane's Story I first became interested in coding during my first year in university. I was not pursuing a career in the technology field however I found that through my statistics course, I enjoyed coding more . This is when I started to research how I can transition into a technology driven career and that is when I discovered SheCodes
My motivation to learn how to code with SheCodes is to be able to start a career in the tech field as I want to be able to support my family. I am the only sibling to graduate in my family and want to be able to have a stable career. Through research I found that the SheCodes foundation provides women with a strong foundation in learning how to code and that the learners are able to excel in the workplace because of their courses.
I enjoy math quizzes, problem solving activities and basically knowing how things work. I also enjoy listening to music.
Tselane has gained access to SheCodes Plus for at no cost. It’s a 4 month coding training that’ll take her from a beginner to a professional.
She'll learn popular technologies, from HTML, CSS, JavaScript and development tools.
She'll also get to build her own online portfolio to showcase to potential employers!
