Tshegofatso 's Story I became interested in coding when I started with a statistics module. I also realized how much you can do with coding. I learnt of the doors it opens and how versatile you become. This grew the passion. It also helped me to challenge myself and start thinking more. Challenges are stuff I like. It also teaches me resilience. Coding is not easy, they always say that it is 90% solving and 10% coding . It tends to become difficult especially as someone who has no background in coding, but it grew my interest. I have only used the R and SAS languages so I am keen on learning more languages especially the more popular ones. I believe SheCodes will help me learn the tricks around coding as well.
My degree has a module that requires coding. I have not been doing well in coding. So I have been searching for coding courses that will help me be a well rounded student and I finally found SheCodes. I also saw some testimonies of ladies who are part of SheCodes and this made me to pray to be part of this foundation. As I researched more about SheCodes, I saw that it empowers women and the cherry on top is that I do not need to pay anything for it. I immediately fell in love with it. I also saw that SheCodes helps to improve skills and analytical thinking which I want for myself.
Public speaking(learning how to become better and training others). Coding(learning more about it) . Reading my Bible, inspirational ,motivational, economic and romance books. Experimenting with new meals(cooking/baking). Exercising to be fit. Singing gospel songs. Playing my violin and recorder. Volunteering especially with children. These are just a few.
