Tsholofelo 's Story My interests were piqued, in coding, when I started questioning my representation in the industry I formed a part of, goals, future plans and wanting to build a career that I loved and felt inspired by, forming a part of a greater network of women in tech, who are not only powerful and intelligent, but ambitious and always willing to help - gave me the nudge I needed into stepping into the world of coding. I wanted to form part of a community of women who are inspirational in the tech world but never leaving each other behind, but helping each other up, towards a cohesive network of coding power houses. It's empowering. It's the main objective behind my interests in coding.
Minority women in tech spaces are not that many, and the motivation behind pioneering as a black woman in tech, has resulted in my interest to take a career pivot, which is risky, but remembering my core "why" towards what I've decided to do for my future, my baby sister and having to find an interest in a path that is never quite linear a journey but, even with it's challenges, there's an empowering charge at looking at something and being able to understand what it means and how to it works, and even more, having to find solutions is a challenge I always find challenging and inspiring to become better.
I enjoy reading. Reading is an escapism that affords me the opportunity to explore my thought processing, my limits, my strengths - too. I do, as well, enjoy the outdoors, being within nature and just exploring my surroundings.
