Tshwanetji's Story I first came across a TikTok video of one guy talking about coding and it sparked an interest in me though i did not understand the tech language that he used most of the time but i knew then that this is something that i want to do.

🙋‍♀️ Tshwanetji's Motivation

My main motivation to start coding is to not only better my life but the lives of my immediate family too. I aspire to get a job in tech especially considering the manner in which everything in life is getting digital. One has to equip themselves with digital and tech skills in order to be able to make an income and remain competent in the economic world,

🤹‍♀️ Tshwanetji's Hobbies

There are two main things that i like doing for fun, namely aerobics and playing Netball. In fact i aspire to one day play for the South African national Netball team.

SheCodes Foundation Mission

Women currently hold 25% of coding jobs and earn 30% less money than men. In most developing countries, more than 65% of women don't have bank accounts and cannot afford to invest in their education. Female refugees also don’t have many opportunities to invest in their education and improve their career horizon - they often work in unskilled, undervalued, and low-paid informal sectors.

SheCodes is here to help provide women in developing countries and women who are refugees with the opportunity to learn how to code for free. SheCodes offers a solid introduction to product development, product design and product management.
