Uliana's Story I founded with my friends an online cinema - https://bigshort.com.ua/ and worked as manager. Then I saw how important work of developer is and I understood that I have good skills to communicate with developers to tell - what need to be done. So I think I can be a good member of the team.

🙋‍♀️ Uliana's Motivation

IT technology was always interesting for me. But I had another job in my country, which was connected to projects with city development topics. Now it’s more possible to work in this area on the ground of war. I have good analytics knowledges and I thought that I can use in the correct way - to learn how to code and to be useful.

🤹‍♀️ Uliana's Hobbies

I like to have active time in my free time (hiking, snowboard). Also, I’m a member of a swimming club and play ultimate frisbee in one team. I’m interested in urban life of cities, health life, ecological topics, vegan food and I like to analyze trade funds.

SheCodes Foundation Mission

Women currently hold 25% of coding jobs and earn 30% less money than men. In most developing countries, more than 65% of women don't have bank accounts and cannot afford to invest in their education. Female refugees also don’t have many opportunities to invest in their education and improve their career horizon - they often work in unskilled, undervalued, and low-paid informal sectors.

SheCodes is here to help provide women in developing countries and women who are refugees with the opportunity to learn how to code for free. SheCodes offers a solid introduction to product development, product design and product management.
