Walaa's Story My journey into coding was inspired by my passion for bioinformatics and the realization that technology could significantly enhance my impact in this field. Two years ago, I discovered Python while researching its role in bioinformatics, and its simplicity drew me in. Despite my background in biological sciences, I was eager to learn something entirely new. The power of coding to analyze complex biological data fascinated me, and this curiosity sparked my interest in pursuing a career in IT and coding. Now, I see technology as the key to unlocking new possibilities in my field.
My journey into tech has been deeply motivated by a desire to make a meaningful contribution to my community and beyond. Despite facing significant challenges, including the war in Sudan, I have remained committed to my goal of integrating technology with biological sciences to drive positive change. This opportunity represents a pivotal moment in my life, where I can finally align my passion with practical skills and experience. I am eager to learn, grow, and contribute to your program, and I am confident that I can bring a unique perspective and strong determination to any project I undertake.
