Yuliia's Story A month ago, I took a short free programming course, where I got my first basic knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. I was incredibly interested in this course, so I tried to find free resources and continue my studies. I read various articles and solved my first tasks on Codewars, which were engaging and fascinating.
My main goal is to start my career in IT because it’s not only one of the fastest-growing sectors worldwide, providing jobs full of opportunities for professional success and growth, but also our life. Most of the things we interact with are related to the IT industry. Also, because it's always changing, continually challenging people to learn new things and it helps to make a difference in millions of people's lives and this is amazingly rewarding. In my country, the share of women in this field is only 25 percent, and unfortunately, they receive a slightly lower salary than men. Now we’re suffering because of the war and I know that the IT sphere is one of the main spheres that support the economy of my country. So, I want to work in this field because I want to be beneficial to my state and society.
I like studying, doing sports (Yoga, cycling), reading, and traveling around my country.
