Zimiso's Story My journey into coding began during my time in university when I was introduced to programming in my IT courses. I quickly became captivated by the logic and structure of coding, as well as the sense of accomplishment that came with solving problems through code. It was during this time that I realized that coding was a powerful tool for creating not only solutions but also entire digital experiences.
I recently completed my Advanced Diploma in ICT majoring in Applications Development. I've always been fascinated by technology and problem-solving. My education gave me a strong foundation in various technical concepts, but I realized that I need to enhance my coding skills to truly excel in the field. My motivation stems from the desire to solve real-world problems through software and to become more proficient in building tools that can make a tangible difference. Coding allows me to bring my ideas to life, and the more I improve, the more confident I become in my ability to create innovative solutions. I’m particularly excited about SheCodes because of its focus on creating a supportive learning environment for women in tech, something I believe is crucial in the industry. I admire how SheCodes emphasizes hands-on coding experience, which will allow me to learn by doing and build a strong portfolio. The boot camp's structure fits perfectly with my goal of becoming more confident and proficient in coding, and I believe it will help me achieve my full potential in a fast-paced, practical learning environment."
