ZINHLE's Story I became interested in coding during my first year in University because I did not know many things when it comes to computer which led me stranded most of the time. But I then became curious on how computers work and also started researching, watching videos on YouTube such as how to draw on MSW and also how to get some of my school work done and then I became more interested in computer programming.

🙋‍♀️ ZINHLE's Motivation

My motivation for learning how to code with SheCodes is that this foundation empowers woman and seeing the world becoming more digital everyday encourages me to want to learn how to code because it improves problem solving skills, foster creativity and also create job opportunities. As a student teacher I have always envisioned myself opening an NGO in future in the most disadvantaged areas around South Africa to empower the youth through teaching different skills and a coding experience will add on those skills

🤹‍♀️ ZINHLE's Hobbies

Some of my hobbies are scriptwriting because I love telling stories, and learning new cooking recipes because I'm a foodie

The Delac Foundation Mission

Women hold only 25% of coding jobs and earn 30% less than men. In many developing countries, over 65% of women lack bank accounts, making it difficult to invest in their education.

The Delac Foundation is changing that. We provide women in developing countries with free coding education, equipping them with the skills to build a better future. In partnership with SheCodes, we offer training in product development, design, and management, empowering women to thrive in the tech industry.
