It’s our goal to teach 1,000 Indonesian Women how to code

SheCodes will teach 1,000 Indonesian Women to code for free through the SheCodes Foundation.

School enrollment in Indonesia is very equitable, with education accessible to both girls and boys. However, 7 out of 10 school dropouts are girls. Additionally, strong gender stereotypes discourage many women from pursuing STEM education. This results in a large pay gap between men and women as well as a much smaller percentage of women participating in the labor force.

The SheCodes Foundation will teach women in Indonesia to code for free with the aim of increasing the number of Indonesian women in the tech industry.

Who Can Join the SheCodes Foundation?

In order to be approved to join a workshop through the SheCodes Foundation, you must fulfill the following requirements.

The SheCodes Foundation is accepting women who:

✅ Reside in the countries listed here
✅ Have access to a computer and internet
✅ Have faced financial difficulties

✅ Are motivated to learn how to code
✅ Complete the application process
✅ Are approved by the SheCodes Team

If you do not fulfill these requirements, but are facing financial hardship, then you can apply for a discount to join SheCodes Workshops.

What is SheCodes Plus?

SheCodes Plus is a 4 month coding training that’ll take you from a beginner to a professional.

You’ll learn everything that SheCodes has to offer, from HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, Responsive development, AI development, and development tools. You’ll also get to build your own online portfolio to showcase to potential employers!

📦 SheCodes Plus includes all of our workshops:
1. Basics Coding Workshop (3 weeks)
2. Basics Add-on (1 week)
3. Plus Coding Workshop (8 weeks)
4. Plus Add-on (2 weeks)
Please note that you’ll gain access to each portion only after graduating from the preceding portion. You’ll build up your coding knowledge gradually along the way.
